The Varilux Physio is a breakthrough in wavefront technology. Wavefront design allows for more precise and accurate visual acuity within all areas of the lens. This allows for wider distance, intermediate, and reading areas. The Physio is a front side digitally surfaced lens.

What is Plastic

A material that is made of a basic resin and has been used for many year now.  First introduced as an alternative to glass, plastic materials offered optical clarity that rivaled glass, but with much less weight.  Although thicker than more modern materials, plastic lenses offer low chromatic aberration, are less expensive, and come in the widest lens styles available.  UV protection is not inherent in the lens with the exception of photochromatics and polarized plastics.  Plastic is also called CR-39 in the optical industry and has an index of refraction of 1.498.

This lens works for most frame types. DO NOT CHOOSE for full rimless frames.
