Varilux lenses are the most well
known of all progressive lenses. Although they only represent a
small portion of all the progressive lenses on the market, the name
is almost synonamous with "progressive" lenses. The Varilux Comfort
is a good standard fit lens for most frames. The Varilux Panamic was
designed to fit smaller frames without eliminating the reading zone
but is not best for the first time progressive wearer.
Choose polarized lenses for the best protection against glare, light
and UV. For the best clarity, choose a backside anti reflective
treatment for the best clarity of vision and color. Grey
Polarized in Panamic Only.

Polycarbonate material offers good prescription
performance and is a lighter and thinner material.. Any prescription
can be made but we recommend a prescription range of +4.00 to -6.00
for the best cosmetic results. For high astigmatisms and very high
prescriptions, we recommend a 1.67 High Index, or Thin and Light
material. Each pair purchased will have a hard case included for the
completed glasses, whether you choose one of our frames or use your
own frame.
Varilux lenses come with a certificate of
