No Line Progressive Bifocal Trivex Lenses

Standard progressive lenses offer bifocal lenses without the visible line of traditional bifocals.  The lens offers a distance area in the top of the lens for far away viewing, an intermediate area in the middle of the lens for viewing at arms length, and a reading area at the bottom of the lens for close up viewing.  Although considered a "bifocal" and not a "trifocal" with it's three areas, the intermediate area is due to the lenses "progression" from distance to near.   See our more advanced progressive selections for progressive designs with wider viewing zones.

This is our material of choice and one we recommend to most customers because of it's overall value as a material. Trivex is the lens material of choice for those who want an impact resistant material that can be made lighter and thinner than plastic but who have had trouble adapting to polycarbonate materials. Another great benefit to this material is it's resistance to cracking that can happen to other materials under stress or exposure to strong chemicals and solvents.  This makes it the best choice for rugged usage.  Because of it's high impact resistance, it is outstanding for kids and sportswear. 

Prescriptions are sharp and crisp, chromatic abberation is reduced, and is the material of choice for drill mount designed frames. The durability against scratching is by far the best of all materials on the market other than glass.
