Eyelab Online is an online source for affordable eyewear. We have over two decades of experience in optics. We believe that the cost of eyeglasses has grown to the point that the necessity of being able to see clearly and properly is becoming harder to afford. New technology on the market such as digital processing, in our opinion, offers the absolute best in optical experience. However, the cost for this new technology has been prohibitive for many people to afford. We have done hours of research, partnered with several different labs and consulted with experts in this new technology so that we can be assured that our products truly are the best in the industry. In the optical industry we feel that all the focus of importance is put on the frames and not the lenses. Although frame construction is important for cosmetics and durability, it’s the lenses themselves that are more important for your vision, not the frame that holds them. Quality lenses and frames CAN be offered for less.
When it comes to digital freeform technology, not all labs are created equal as we have discovered. We’ve surveyed not only customers wearing different designs, but have also had the input of several independent private practices that use different designs. If the feedback on a certain line of lenses is not favorable, we simply will not work with that design. Our signature HD line of lenses are better performing than several name brand lines of digital freeform. The reason for this is due to the right processing, using the correct parameters for each individual order, and designing the lenses based on not just the prescription, but also the physical dynamics of the frame itself. We are about selling optical quality, not brands.
Our goal was not to offer $10 disposable glasses but search different frame and lens vendors where we could offer complete eyewear that could be backed up by warranties. We are constantly looking and adding both frame lines and lenses that will give you the best quality possible. When new lenses enter the market, we will evaluate the performance prior to offering them as options for purchase. Every lens and frame we offer comes with purchase protection against defects, breakage and yes, even accidental damage. This means that even if your frames or lenses become broken, we will replace them the first time at no charge to you.
