Sometimes, the no line progressive lenses are not for everyone. Instead of an intermediate computer distance being constrained or hard to find in the progressive designs, the lined trifocal has the specific dedicated area that is easy to find. Although lined trifocal lenses have fallen out of favor for many optical retailers to offer, these lenses do not have the "swim" distortion that is inherent in any progressive design.
